Program Manager
Purvi Rami comes to H-CAP with over 15 years of experience working for public, private, and government sector organizations focused on healthcare, education, workforce development, and philanthropy. Based in Los Angeles, California, her work
centers on the strategic and equitable expansion of registered apprenticeship programs in healthcare across the state through program support, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement.
Purvi has extensive experience collaborating with stakeholders across the education and workforce systems to improve education quality and access. She was previously a grant writer and analyst, raising funds to develop the training of policymakers and
developing and evaluating resources for organizations implementing apprenticeship programs and career pathways. Most recently, Purvi worked for the Foundation for California Community Colleges, where she led technical assistance to increase the
capacity of the California Community College system to develop better integrated and efficient systems that help adult education students move on to transfer-level coursework and/or the workforce. She implemented equity-centered design principles
into all her work, which included overseeing research projects and training workforce development practitioners interested in developing, growing, and sustaining apprenticeship programs.
Purvi holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Studies from UCLA.
