CAREGIVER RESEARCH
OVERVIEW
The Center for Equity grounds our research and resulting policy recommendations in a worker-centered approach that is intentional around centering workers of color, women, and immigrant caregivers, with a particular focus on Black women caregivers.
Our worker engagement and participatory policy framework intentionally recognizes caregivers as “experts by experience” in their own lives and working conditions to inform long-term care workforce development policies that advance racial equity and job quality.
See below for an overview of some of our recent research with caregivers.
