The EA is a non-profit 501C3 that supports work for all sectors of the healthcare industry. EA supports leadership and staff development for Funds and Training organizations.

The EA is committed to provide workplace skills and career pathways and bring greater equity to the healthcare professions. The EA works with our partners to disseminate best practices that support education, skills enhancement, and career mobility for healthcare workers; develop solutions to emerging issues; and provide program development and evaluation services to collaborating partners.

EA also provides program development and research support on successful programs around the country and to increase knowledge and share best practices of labor/management efforts on training in healthcare. EA’s efforts define policy initiatives that support joint training and incumbent worker career pathways.

In an effort to continue to provide support to our partners during the unprecedented healthcare and humanitarian COVID-19 crisis, EA continues to compile resources to serve frontline caregivers.

EA is governed by directors of partner labor management training funds, with an advisory committee composed of training fund representatives, with representation across all sectors of the healthcare industry – from hospitals and health systems to nursing homes, home care and ambulatory and community-based care.
