Education and Training Specialist

Neesha Rose joined the Healthcare Career Advancement Program (H-CAP) in March 2022 as an Education and Training Specialist with a primary focus on building diversity, equity, and inclusion in
the healthcare workforce. She supports the development and implementation of initiatives for the H-CAP Education Association, a national network of labor-management training funds and
partnerships.

She was responsible for implementing workforce development initiatives in healthcare, including training programs for nurses, home health aides, medical billers, and bilingual medical assistants. Neesha earned a BA in the Study of Women and Gender and Government from Smith College and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from SUNY
Downstate School of Public Health. She holds a certificate in Community Leadership and Social Change from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
