Director of Communications and Data Strategy

Tamara Martial-Dolcy is Director of Communications and Data Strategy at​ Healthcare Career Advancement Program (H-CAP). Tamara  has played a pivotal role in the organization's profile evolution since 2016. Through her strategic vision and leadership, she has shaped H-CAP's data and communications initiatives, making significant contributions to the organization's overarching mission.

Tamara previously worked at 1199SEIU Healthcare Workers East where she  played key roles in contract negotiations and communications. Her research work  was crucial in organizing drives across major health systems, community-based organizations, and ambulatory facilities in New York and Massachusetts. Tamara is a dedicated advocate for social justice, particularly in healthcare and labor spaces. For over 15 years,  she  has been at the forefront of addressing critical issues such as healthcare access, education, and the advancement of working individuals.

 

Tamara has a BA in English and Journalism from Morgan State University and MA in Media Studies from the New School.
